THE WORSHIP MINISTRIES OF ANTIOCH BAPTIST CHURCH

Perhaps the most recognized and greatest opportunity for witness in the life of a church is during her time of public worship. It is a time when all the components of our church's operation come together in a corporate setting for the primary purpose of honoring God for His greatness and goodness to His people. During worship, each worshipper experiences praise, prayers, preaching, penitence, and the privilege to support the church financially.

Music Ministry

Christian music unquestionably provides a very necessary dimension in the life of the church. The Bible states "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!" (Psalms 150:8). The principle objective of the music ministry is to offer quality Christian music that enhances the atmosphere of worship and other scheduled activities of the church.

Usher Ministry

The ministry of the ushers is based on Psalms 84:10b which says, "...I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness." As doorkeepers, the ushers stand in a crucial and critical position as they meet and greet those entering the sanctuary. Their attitudes and dispositions will affect the attitudes and dispositions of every person they lead into the House of the Lord.

Media Ministry

The purpose of the media ministry is to assist in creating a high quality hybrid experience (in-person and online) for our weekly worship and Christian education events. The media ministry is also responsible for increasing the church's social media presence.
